ACE Hotel Shoreditch

Can you make the most corporate hotel into a hipster hang out? We would have said no but Ace Hotel group proved us wrong with their first European property – Ace Hotel Shoreditch!

During the day, the lobby is filled with hipsters and young entrepreneurs, sitting on their Macbooks (probably skyping their mums) and drinking probably the best flat white out there. In the evening, the hotel turns into the most popular social hang out which includes 2 bars, several lounge areas and a photobooth! Oh, and there’s also a record/fashion store which has every single Grace Jones’ album in vinyl (our jaws dropped after this revelation).

The hotel has 258 bedrooms, which have a blend of vintage and modern furniture, as well as some interested art attached to the walls. Rooms cost from £179 but trust us; it’s definitely worth every penny if you’re up for experiencing East London at its best. The place is minutes away from Brick Lane, Old Spitalfields Market and the Hoxton Square. Basically you’re in the middle of everything!

Launched in 2013, Ace Hotel in Shoreditch hosted some of the biggest warehouse parties in East London, most notably, Hard Cock Life - the R&B and Hip-Hop party for queers! This mayhem occurs once a
month and on a hot summer’s day they rent out the whole rooftop bar for an all-day summer party with a-list celebrity guests and performance acts from all over the world. This can’t get any better than that!
