About Baby Lame


Baby Lame is force to be reckoned with… regarded as one of London’s most exciting alt-cabaret stars, she is also an award-winning MC, BBC radio presenter, actor and events producer.

After working on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK as a Consultant Producer, Baby was selected as the co-host of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK: The Podcast alongside Scarlett Moffatt for BBC Sounds.

Baby is the emcee and co-producer of Mariah and Friendz ’The best damn drag-circus-burlesque show in town’ (Timeout), which has played sold out shows at Underbelly Festival and Wintervile, as well as holding a monthly residency at Bethnal Green Working Mens Club for the last 5 years. Other MC credits include regular projects with The Glory, including Europe’s largest Drag King competition ‘Man Up‘ alongside Adam All.

Baby has over 15 years experience working in both Television and Event management and is the creator of the critically acclaimed monthly variety night ‘Shit Show‘ at The Glory. Other producer credits include collaborations with Secret CinemaWildernessAll Points EastY Not FestivalAce HotelTimeoutThe London Eye, BFI and And What?Queer Arts Festival.

On stage, Baby has worked regularly with Peaches Christ starring as Lame Edna in the world premier of ’Spice Racks’ at the Castro Theatre. She regrouped with Peaches in 2019 joining the cast of ‘Drag Becomes Her‘ for a 22 date sellout UK tour alongside RuPaul’s Drag Race winner Jinkx Monsoon and Ben Delacreme.

Other noteable credits include landing the leading role in Finger in the Pie’s ‘Wunderfinger’ at London’s Wonderground. Baby also gained a role in Jonny Woo’s children’s show at the National Theatre River Stage, which led to the creation of  her own children’s show ‘Poop Show‘ for the National Theatre.

Her award-winning show ; ‘Baby Lame: Don’t Call it a Comeback!‘ has played hugely successful runs at Brighton Fringe (The Marlborough Theatre), Hot August Fringe (RVT), Mimetic Festival (Vaults), VAULT 2015 and Edinburgh Festival (CC Blooms).

Upcoming projects include her long awaited  solo show – ‘Final Baby Girl!‘ which will debut at Homotopia Festival in 2022
