Bloc Bar

Bloc Bar

London’s freshest queer space has everybody talking as Bloc Bar takes Camden by storm! After the sudden closure of one of London's most historical gay institutions, The Black Cap, Camden was left barren of any queer hangouts. But fear no more as North London has regained its sparkle in the shape of Bloc Bar. Amen! And it’s all thanks to Wayne Shires, promoting Jedi and baby daddy of East London’s ‘East Bloc’ who decided it was about time to have his second child. World, welcome Bloc Bar.

It’s hard to describe how refreshing an atmosphere Bloc Bar has to offer its customers with its friendly service and sea of talented performers and events each and every night of the week.  Bloc Bar has invited back some of Camden’s most legendary performers like drag house ‘the Family Fierce’ who perform a residency night with friends every Thursday. Other nights include the much needed return of Holestar’s infamous quiz night, ‘Lets get Quizical’ which involves lots of audience participation and tons of whacky prizes to be won every Tuesday.

Bloc Bar is a space for everyone to enjoy; male, female or somewhere in between. Whatever age, you are welcomed with open arms which is energising, considering the London gay scene can seem like one big guest listed party that you haven't been invited to. Clubbing is not the only thing that Bloc Bar has to offer as it sets its sights on the gourmet burger industry, offering delicious food throughout the day.

What are you waiting for? Visit the bar everyone is talking about, today!
