Are you over going to a gay bar and being surrounded by boys you could have conceived that one awkward night you had in high school? Does the names Demi Levato and Selena Gomez mean nothing to you? Are you in search of a place to find like minded men, cheap drinks and songs you can actually sing along to? Then my friend, I invite you to an evening at Comptons, a queer hang out for the more mature man.

Standing with pride in the centre of Soho, Comptons has been serving its customers since the mid 80s but the building itself has been a hang out for a not entirely straight crowed since the 1950s. Compton's has been accredited by ‘Cask Maeque’ for serving great quality beer that will get you swinging from the chandelier in no time. Yes there is a chandelier!

The Victorian style pub is split into 2 levels. The ground floor is consistently busy and expect to see bears, leather-men and silver foxes spilling out onto the pavement. This is where the party starts. Upstairs is the lounge area where you can relax with the new ‘friend’ you made downstairs. This floor features a grand piano so make sure you warm up them vocal chords for a good ole sing-a-long!

No more excuses, pop down to one of London’s most infamous gay bars today!
