The Cut - Young Vic Theatre

The Cut - Young Vic Theatre

Finding yourself south of the river with no agenda but to have a good time can be a tricky situation. But between the endless amounts of chicken shops and market stalls you may just find a gem and that's exactly how we'd describe The Cut.

The Cut stands within the Young Vic Theatre, Southwark, and serves as a bar, restaurant and event space. The 2 storey venue has a seating area and bar on both floors with an outside terrace to enjoy a cheeky vogue (look it up) in the summer sun.

The decor is somewhat industrial with brick walls covered in posters of passed plays, wooden furniture and metal railings resembling something you would normally find in East London. The atmosphere is cool and vibrant and is an ideal place for a first date, pre theatre drinks or a starter bar for a big night out in town.

Reasonably priced, The cocktails are close to perfection and so are the bartenders, who will mix you up any cocktail on request - even if it is not on the menu. We suggest trying their selection of delicious tapas where you can buy 3 dishes for £15 - great for sharing.

The spacious venue is a brilliant place to waste away your evenings with good friends, delicious food and incredible drinks. The Cut has been impressing customers for the past 10 years with no signs of stopping anytime soon. So why not venture south of the river and enjoy everything The Cut has to offer.
