The Duke of Wellington

Located in the heart of Soho, long standing pub, The Duke of Wellington shines with pride as one of the great bars this area has to offer. Known to some as 'the bear bar' The Duke of Wellington attracts a more mature customer looking for a fun evening away from the kids. This is the habitat for Silver foxes and bearded bears looking to meet like minded people for a night of cheesy pop classics and plenty of affordable drinks. Sounds exciting? Then this is the boozer for you!

Split into 2 levels, the ground floor can get pretty hot and heavy during the weekend as it gets packed to the rafters with locals and tourists. Don't be shocked to see full grown men getting down to the likes of Cher and Madonna! The atmosphere spills outside to the smoking area, heated, as all good smoking areas should be. Although it is a pretty standard smoking area, time will fly by as you make new friends, polluting your lungs together.

Ascending the stairwell you will find a more relaxed area, a place to sit and chat with a group of friends, catch up on business with a colleague or get cosy with the fancy man you met downstairs. The Duke of Wellington is cheap and cheerful and promises to be the perfect place to start off your night. Enjoy the variety of fine ales and £2.50 drinks every Monday, the perfect time to recover from the weekend.
