The Victoria

The Victoria

Do you happen to be in North East London, looking for a friendly nice venue to unwind at after a long stressful day? Then look no further; we’ve found something really special for those seeking to find a cool place nearby.

Located on Walthamstow High Street there’s a super cute pub called The Victoria. Established in 1977, The Victoria has an authentic and seasoned feel to it, and is open seven days a week! It’s next to Mirth, a very hipster cinema, music and comedy venue.

During the week, the pub attracts predominantly straight crowd but weekends take a happy turn for the gays. There is some good ole live jazz/blues music happening on Thursdays whilst camp karaoke occurs every Friday night. On Saturday, The Victoria hosts some of the best drag and cabaret shows whilst resident DJs are pleasing the crowd until the early hours the next day. Expect some commercial pop and friendly locals dancing like their rent is due.

On Sundays, get together and enjoy a lush roast dinner (13.00-18.00), and participate in a weekly pub quiz from 20.30. There’s a slot machine, a pool table and darts available for those looking to play some games or break some ice during a hot date.

The Victoria has no happy hour offers, however, you can get 2 cocktails for a tenner or standard drinks at a very reasonable price so you are likely to have some spare change for a ‘cheeky Nandos’ later.
