Arcola Theatre Queer Collective three new productions for 2018

The Arcola Queer Collective explores queer identity and how to present it theatrically.
This year it will be putting on three plays as part of the Arcola Theatre’s Creative/Disruption 18.
The season runs from February 26th - March 10th.

Following their smash-hit productions of A Midsummer Night’s Dream and The Little Prince,
Nick Connaughton returns to direct the 20th anniversary revival of Corpus Christi, Terrence McNally’s provocative play, a modern day re-telling of the story of Jesus.

In addition, two new works will be performed.  Sue Frumin, writer and queer theatre legend presents
Fine and Dandy a story about Jewish refugee’s journey in a dazzling show which blends music, drama, circus and music hall. The piece is directed by Jonathan Richardson (The Fems, Camden People’s Theatre/The Glory, and House of Idiot).

The Cluedo Club Killings Robert Holton’s hilarious new thriller, is a fabulous queer reimagining of all your board game favourites and is directed by Nat Kennedy.

The Queer Collective’s past productions have received critical-acclaim and a strong audience following by creating punchy, radical and riotous fresh looks at the classics.
