Loving Men – personal development events coming this spring

Loving Men, the long established personal development workshops for gay/bi/queer men are coming to London this April and May with two great events.

First, on Friday 13th April Is Looking for Love in the City, the place for inspiration, ideas and to meet other gay/bi men who are passionate about intimate relationships. The evening will include ideas about how to make real connections in person, online and on the apps, and some exercises to put them into practice. Connections might actually be made!

This workshop is for you if: you’re ready to go the next step in the dating game and want some inspiration and ideas; you want to meet others who are interested in connection; you’re tired or disillusioned by your experience of meeting other gay/bi men and want a different approach to cultivating love in your life; you’ve given up on love altogether and never go out anymore!

Over the late May Bank Holiday weekend, (26th-28th),  Connections Festival for gay/bi/queer men is a coming to London, exploring intimacy and connection.   There’ll be many opportunities to learn about intimacy, connect with others, experiment and play, stretch your intimacy comfort zone, and gain inspiration, all in the company of a large group of men of diverse ages, ethnicities and walks of life.

Tim Foskett, one of the founders of Loving Men, says: “Loving Men has been running events for more than 15 years, usually outside London in residential centres.  This year we wanted to make Loving Men more accessible to men in London, where many have a growing sense of disconnection between gay/bi men.”

Dennis Carney, another of the Loving Men founders says: “The Connections Festival is an intimate feast for gay, bi and queer men who want to explore connections with each other - body, heart and mind - in a safe, stimulating and supportive space.”

He adds:  “We have an incredible collection of workshop leaders from far and wide offering workshops on all kinds of intimacy-linked subjects.  Topics include: Communication Skills, Queer Tango, Tantric Connection, Trust, Gay/Queer Ancestors, Sensual Contact Improvisation, Dramatherapy, Talking about Race, Dreams, Singing, Inter-Personal Skills, Mindfulness, 5Rhythms© Dance, Father Issues, Conscious Power/Impact Play and Shiatsu Massage.”
