Queers - a not to be missed play about being LGBTQ today

Last night we were lucky enough to be at the sensational sold out opening night of Queers at the Kings Head Theatre. OutSavvy is delighted to be able to offer you tickets for this short run, on only until July 1st.

If you know the work of renowned writer Pat Cash, (Chemsex Monologues, HIV Monologues) and equally acclaimed Director, Peter Darney (5 Guys Chillin, The Drag), then  you know you are in for, by turns, a thought provoking, comic and at times heart wrenching evening. A well observed, captivating cast of characters are brought to life convincingly by a quintet of emotionally engaging actors, giving us believable breezy performances. They chart for us the queer experience in London from the 1999 Admiral Duncan Pub bombing to the continuing struggles of 2017. Our fight is not over yet, as the audience is movingly confronted at the end of this piece of urgent, relevant theatre.

We have no hesitation in recommending Queers to you, a wake up call for any of us feeling just a little bit complacent about our comfortable gay lives of same sex marriage and the impending celebration of a summer of Pride festivals.
