Two new shows at King's Head Theatre

‘We are London’s most ambitious pub theatre, committed to producing unapologetic work..

… the future of British theatre is here’

These are the words of King’s Head Theatre in Islington. And we at OutSavvy echo this. We are delighted to announce that we have two ambitious and thought provoking plays for you this Summer which very much show The Kings’s Head Theatre at their ‘unapologetic’ best.

2017, as we remember, is the 50th anniversary of the partial discrimination of Homosexuality in England and Wales. It is also the 35th anniversary of the premiere of Kevin Aylot’s landmark drama Coming Clean – and the King’s Head Theatre revival is the headliner for their 2017 Queer season. The play runs from July 26th for a month – not to be missed!

Before that, from May 17th until June 3rd, a welcome return to the Kings Head Theatre of another OutSavvy ‘must-see’  – Peter Darney’s  5 Guys Chillin’.  The play has had successful rave review runs in London and New York over the last eighteen months.
