This is a monthly meetup, usually held at the DIY Space London, for LGBTQIA+ folks with mental health issues, to create space for us where there isn't always space provided.
No set agenda, there will be one main room, as well as a breakout room nearby as well as outside space to allow for different needs and social interactions. Pamphlets will be available based around LGBTQIA+ specific mental health and services available.
Hopefully, this will provide a safe, accessible space for us to either talk about mental health issues, to specifically not talk about them, or just to come together and provide support or much-needed distractions for our queer family.
Whilst we realise that mental health services are stretched for everyone, please respect the specific need for LGBTQIA+ spaces and only attend if you self-identify as part of the community.
This is a free event and no registration or ticket is needed for entry, but signing up before the day will help us judge how many people to prepare for when setting up the space. Adding a donation, if you're in a position to do so, will help us raise funds to host the events, but absolutely isn't expected.
