Over ten years of Sink The Pink we have proudly supported many charities and causes we feel passionate about within our community. We have decided this deserves its own platform under the banner of Sink The Pink Family. We are nothing without our community, our chosen family, and supporting charities and groups that make all of our lives better benefits everyone.
The first Sink The Pink Family event is a film festival, raising money for London LGBTQ+ Community Centre. It will be held at the legendary Dalston Rio cinema on Sunday 2nd September. Featuring films made by and about members of the Sink The Pink family.
Screenings start at 1pm:

A beautiful film about the transgender story.
Lucy candidly shares her transgender journey, speaking in emotive detail about the struggles she has overcome and finding acceptance in East London’s euphoric queer club scene.
An empowering celebration of independence, ‘Lucy’ will make you stop and think about the spectrum of gender identity and what it means to be yourself.

VOGUE CHI BY JOSEPH WILSON
Vogue-Chi is a dynamic, self-affirming, meditative practice mixing movement and principles of both Voguing -a spectrum of dance styles inspired by fashion and created by African and Latin American Gay and Trans people- and Tai Chi. Vogue-Chi facilitates spiritual principles historically developed by LGBTQ+ people to engage positively in life and overcome institutionalized oppression, invisibilization and abuse. Facilitated by Ted Rogers and Atabey Mamasita.
