Martineau and Ducastel’s joyfully knowing Technicolor musical is aware of its lineage, with Jacques Demy and Agnes Varda’s son as the handsome Olivier. When the cheerfully promiscuous Jeanne (Ledoyen) meets Olivier at her travel agency she believes he’s the one.
