Sabajaq returns with another bank holiday special, this time filling the final Saturday of August with its trademark blend of modern techno and groovy tech-house.
Hungary's Jay Lumen has proved a firm Sabajaq favourite and returns having just dropped the double-headed 'Rebirth'/'Panorama' on his own Footwork label. Despite his young age, New York's Layton Giordani has already made his mark on the world of techno, dropping debut album 'Where It Begins' on Drumcode earlier in the year. Following fast in his footsteps is Vinicius Honorio. Having honed his skills as a D&B producer, the Brazilian relocated to London scored a huge label hit of his own on Drumcode with his recent 'Through The Darkness' EP.
They're joined by Sabajaq boss and resident Warboy, whose 'Overcast City' EP (featuring a Vinicius Honorio remix) was recently released by Egg's What Came First label. Alongside him are Solid Grooves and Sabajaq residents Maze & Masters, who are equally at home playing tough techno or jacking house, and Egg LDN resident Kyle E, whose most recent studio excursion was to remix Metodi Hristov's 'Wild East' release.
