When we were asked 6 months ago to promote a gig for hilarious body positive trio The Baby Seals, it soon became clear that this wouldn't be your regular kind of event.
Prepare yourself for immersive decor, independent art & craft stalls, and a veritable variety of music provided by some of the finest female practitioners around!
Music over two floors featuring:
The Baby Seals - Every single one of these head-bobbing pop-punk songs are sure to be stuck in your head for a week - no easy feat to combine catchiness, empowerment & humour!

LOFT - Deconstructed club music coming at you with the force of twelve orchestras playing Gustav Holst's "Mars, The Bringer Of War" simultaneously at different speeds.

Mutabase - Mutant punk w/ electronic elements, from the subversive performance wonder. Is this meant to happen? Is any of it real? What's going on?!

NikNak - Her DJ sets known for flying from genre to genre in the danciest of ways, Nik Nak's versatile mixing prowess will astound & delight!

IORA - Live looping & dynamic vocals allow for emotive folk undertones to shine through haunting electronic arrangements.

Elisa Astrid - Relaxed R&B influenced vocals, accompanied by minimal trip-hop beats - waviness from London!

243 Ida - Honest & isolated vocal melodies glide through obscurely decorated pop songs - subtle glitch-work is the icing on this cake!

Partisan Collective: This wonderful new community venue really needs your help in raising the funds required to become fully accessible:

Unfortunately this instance of Synthesis cannot be fully accessible - there are tough stairs by all entrances and exits of the venue, and as much as we have racked our brains for temporary solutions, there are simply no practical options that can be implemented in time for the event. We are very sorry if this affects your attendance or experience in any way.
Both the promotion team and the venue recognise the importance of full accessibility, and our hope is to utilise the body positive elements of this event as a means to raise as much awareness as possible for Partisan Collective's desperate need for funding!
