Romancero Books with the support of the Office for Cultural and Scientific Affairs of the Spanish Embassy in London presents the Festival of Queer Spanish Literature in London - FQSLL

Romancero Books with the support of the Office for Cultural and Scientific Affairs of the Spanish Embassy in London presents the Festival of Queer Spanish Literature in London - FQSLL
Christo Casas, Paz Olivares y Weldon Penderton in conversation with Jorge Gárriz about the book El Power Ranger Rosa, published by Niños Gratis*.
Christo Casas is a journalist, screenwriter and anthropologist in training. He was born in 1991 in a small town in Cuenca, far from everything. A working-class fag and a journalist angry at journalism, he has been a grape picker, waiter, tour guide, doorman, translator, porter, hostess or scriptwriter, but he still hopes that one day he will be able to stop working. He currently lives in Barcelona, where he coordinates the communication of LGBTI, anti-racist and anti-capacitist events from a class perspective. The Pink Power Ranger is the first work to go from accumulating cyberdust on its hard drive to printed paper.
Paz Olivares and Weldon Penderton are the editors of niños gratis*. As they say, they still make books. All good. Even if the books are no more than an extravagance, they still want to enjoy them. Make them, read them and speak them.
Event in Spanish with English subtitles.
Pre-recordered talk available during Saturday 2 October.
Link to watch the talk will be sent 24 hours the opening of the festival.
Access to the festival available from every country around the world.
