Plans changed? Let us know or cancel your ticket. No-shows arenโt sexy and stop others from joining. Repeat no-shows wonโt get future bookings.
Our next theme is Queer Elders ๐คโจ
This month, our monologuists explore, honour, and celebrate our queer elders in all their richness, wisdom, and vitality. From stories of trailblazing activism, intergenerational connection, and surviving history to reflections on ageing, mentorship, joy, and the precious legacies passed down through our communities, these monologues shine a light on those who paved the way and those who continue to guide us. Join us for an evening of deeply moving, honest, and compassionate storytelling that bridges generations, inviting open conversation without judgement while celebrating the living histories among us.
HOW IT WORKS:
๐ญ Monologists have up to 10-15 minutes to share their unique take on the theme.
๐๏ธ After the performances, we settle in for an open group discussion.
๐๏ธ FREE ENTRY - but pre-booking is required!
๐ธ Support The Common Press - grab a drink from the bar and enjoy the night!
๐ถ Dog-friendly venue
โฟ Fully wheelchair accessible (both entrance and toilet)
๐ฌ WANT TO PERFORM?

About our FREE events
๐ Our events are free to ensure they remain accessible to our communities. However, organizing them comes with costs. If you'd like to support our work, please consider donating via this link.
๐ To make sure as many people as possible can attend, we ask that you cancel your ticket if you can no longer make it. Failing to show up without prior cancellation takes a spot from someone else and wastes resources, including food and venue costs. We track attendance, and individuals who miss three events without cancelling will be unable to register for our future events. Please be considerate and let us know if you canโt attend.
๐ To ensure a smooth and respectful experience for everyone, please arrive on time. Our events are not drop-in sessions, meaning attendees must arrive at the start time and stay for the duration. We allow a 10-minute grace period for late arrivals - after that, entry will not be permitted as it can be disruptive to the group. Additionally, the entrance is not monitored after the grace period, so there will be no one available to let latecomers in. The event hours are clearly stated in the description, so please plan accordingly. Thank you for understanding and helping us create a welcoming space for all!
๐ Alongside this, we appreciate it if you could respond to any communication by the given response deadline so we can make the necessary arrangements for the event.
๐ By signing up to this event, you agree to be added to The Love Tankโs mailing list. We may contact you by email regarding this event and occasionally send you updates about our programmes, events, and activities. You can unsubscribe at any time.
