Recharge for Workers
Pay What You Can
Join us for a workshop by the Museum of Homelessness crew all about complex trauma, systemic trauma, and generational trauma. Although trauma is everywhere, it is widely misunderstood, misdiagnosed, and mistreated.
This workshop is designed for practitioners who work within overstretched systems of care with people who have experienced trauma. Led by qualified MoH trauma conscious coaches, this gentle session will offer a nurturing and productive space for people who want to manage trauma better.
This session will explore:
Vicarious trauma, trauma and compassion, and boundaries for activists. We will use the lenses of Gabor Mate’s Compassionate Inquiry, Polyvagal Theory, and Internal Family Systems to better understand how trauma shows up.
