We are Karla, a Mexican designer specialising in cultural heritage and Lili, a Spanish teacher from Colombia. We are excited to introduce “A la mesa”, which aims to explore various aspects of Mexican and Colombian contemporary culture, including gastronomy, art & design, language and music.As Latin Americans we often feel a lack of community and belonging due to the limited spaces available to us. Therefore, we would like to bring people together to celebrate the richness of our cultures, moving beyond clichés and exploring deeper narratives about identity, culture, tradition and authenticity.
