Join Babes and Botanicals for an evening of Life drawing & Lino printing, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Aimed at all abilities and creative levels.
Babes and Botanicals aims to represent and uplift marginalised bodies and identities. People that don't get seen in mainstream media deserve to be celebrated and live their best lives.
Over the course of 2 hours you will draw, design and create your own Babes and Botanicals Lino print.
To start you will take part in a 40 minute life drawing class with lots of leafy and planty props.
Modelling will be Abigail (She/Her) who describes herself as:
Growing, spiritual, laid back and a little bit silly. I adore being outside hugging trees, animals or my people.I am always cooking, or swimming. And I create nude art. I also love being nude!
Next we'll have a short break before being guided by Polly, (Artist who runs Babes and Botanicals), in turning your life drawings into a beautiful Lino print for you to take home.
All art abilities welcome, suitable for beginners and more experienced artists looking to try something new.
The price of ticket includes all materials however you are also welcome to bring your own.
Please note the event space is alcohol free. You are welcome to purchase and enjoy alcoholic beverages in the ground floor bar prior and after the event. During the event only soft and hot drinks are allowed.
Event attendees receive 20% off drinks in the bar.
The event space is in the basement, when you arrive please go through the bar and down the stairs.
