The London Gay Symphonic Winds (LGSW) are London's premiere queer wind band! With more than 40 players, we play everything from the camp classics to the symphonic masterpieces!
***CURTAINS UP***
Raise the curtain on some of the best stage and screen musical classics! This concert is all about works that tell a story in one way or another. Whether it's Gershwin's swanky American in Paris, the von Trapps in Austria or Captain Corcoran and his crew aboard the HMS Pinafore, this programme is full of big characters and intriguing locations; all guaranteed to keep you on the edge of your seat.
***YOUR HOST***
Second place stalwart (The Crown '21, NADC '22) That Girl is a stagey, campy, all lip-syncing, all singing fool with big numbers and even bigger eye make up. As is only fitting for a London queen, if it sounds like a daft idea, she's probably going to perform it. From Disney Pixar's Trash Robots, to the queens of the silver screen, she does it all, including (apparently) performing compere duties for the musical delights of London's campest band, LGSW!
