Our life drawing classes are for all artistic abilities and everyone is welcome.
The class combines short poses and longer poses with our instructor giving you directions on drawing methods that will help each artist build their technique from drawing to drawing.
Our classes are small and intimate in a beautiful studio with stage lighting provided by the Omnibus Theatre.
LIFE MODELS
We host a different life model for each class, we post on our instagram page each Monday for the coming week, follow us to keep updated @red__art__club
ALL MATERIALS ARE PROVIDED
Materials: A3 Canvas board with sugar paper, graded pencils, erasers, coloured pencils, soft colour pastels, compressed charcoal sticks, felt tips, and oil pastels.
Please feel free to bring your own materials if you would prefer to.
BLOCK RESERVATIONS FOR GROUPS
If you're booking as a group individually and want to sit together please email redartclub@hotmail.com with your names, group size and booking reference to reserve a block of chairs together.
ITINERARY
- Please arrive at 7:15pm to grab a seat and get settled before the class starts.
- 7:30 - 8pm The first half of the session focuses on quick poses, building upon each pose with a different drawing technique suggested by our instructor.
- 8pm- 8:15pm Fifteen minute interval to socialise and to grab another drink, you can redeem a 10% discount at the bar from the interval by showing the bartender one of your drawings.
- 8:15-9pm The second half of the session focuses on untutored longer poses.
- 9pm - late Chat and socialise at our exhibition in the Omnibus Theatre bar
