Welcome to the inaugural QPOC Project Book Club in collaboration with Housmans Bookstore!

Welcome to the very first book club being hosted by the QPOC Project in collaboration with Housmans Bookstore. The QPOC Project book club is an initiative organised with the purpose of providing queer people of colour a safe and sober space to discuss literature by fellow queer authors of colour. Queer people of colour and their creative works have too often not been celebrated and this book club seeks to solve this by providing a queer-friendly, women-friendly, trans-friendly and BIPOC-friendly space.

We are incredibly proud to be hosting our inaugural book club on the 25th of January at 7:30pm at Housmans Bookstore. This new year we will be discussing Under the Udala Trees by Chinelo Okparanta - there is no need to have fully read the book.

If you would like to collect your online order in person from the shop, you must also use the coupon code COLLECTION. Otherwise postage of £2.95 will be added to your order and it will be posted out to you. If you prefer to purchase the title in-store, ask for the bookclub discount to be applied to the book at the till.

There are very limited tickets available due to capacity so please grab your tickets ASAP. There will be no tickets available at the door the day of the event. Further details as to our attendance policy will be sent upon reserving a ticket.
