QHP are going back to our origins, bringing the queers together for 2 hours on zoom on Christmas Day.
A few years ago during lockdown we did a QHP Christmas Day live stream as we know Christmas Day for so many of our community can be lonely and isolating. This year we are bringing it back, bigger and bolder than ever, and with our very own queen's speech! It takes all of us to fight and lift each other up so we want to celebrate those doing the work, and put you on to some amazing groups you should know about, donate to, and support in the coming year. We've teamed up with The Outside Project for Outsidermas to bring the best radical and caring elements of our community to queers across the UK and the world; those isolated, hiding identities from families, or just in need if some chosen family fun.
You'll have two of Queer House Party's resident DJs: Watcha and passer, and one of our resident hosts, Liv Wynter who's got a special gift for the republican queers out there.
We'll send the link out to anyone that orders a ticket, or you can just check our socials before the event to get the zoom link. Then party away.
The Outside Project is close to our hearts at Queer House Party, and important to the rest of the community. They are launching a special funding campaign to help those LGBTIQ that have found themselves homeless during the winter period, please give generously if you are able. Details below.

All donations this Christmas week will be split 50/50 between the welfare fund for our shelter guests here in London and the new Brighton LGBTIQ+ Shelter we are supporting Switchboard to open in the New Year.
Here's what the Outside Project have to say:
🎄 OUTSIDERMAS IS BACK! 🥳
We are back for the 5th year reclaiming Christmas as the campest day of the year. Outsidermas is our annual Christmas Day dinner party for LGBTIQ+ Centre members and those we are sheltering.
RSVP has reopened to the in person dinner for anyone who is currently homeless, sofa surfing or being sheltered by us. Please DM or email Jesse@lgbtiqoutside.org ASAP (before Christmas Eve at the latest) so that we can organise travel and ensure you have a space.
Outsidermas has been described as ‘THE BEST CHRISTMAS EVER!’ by former guests of ours and we could not do this each year without our dedicated #outsidercrew - notably Outsidermas Elf Jesse Ashman who has been there every year - even serving Christmas Dinner in the garden during covid times 👏🏼🧝🏼🎄
💫 QHP X Outsidermas Live Stream! 4-6pm Christmas Day
We are partnering with @queerhouseparty again this year to zoom a massive queer family party into your Christmas Day whether you are alone, in Covid lockdown, living or visiting cis/heteronormative households - we’ve got your back.
Additionally this year - in absence of the Queen - we have invited our friend and former Cafe Queero, Covid lockdown and Star Refuge Support worker @livwynter to make a speech.
Thank you to our Outsidermas partner venue for the 5th year in a row - Castlehaven Community Centre in Camden. Also Thankyou to Camden Hub We are the Black Cap for supporting us on the day.
Thankyou to Outsidermas funders - Intermission Film, InterMediaUK, Page Masters and Me the Drag Queen.
💫 Outsidermas is held in memory of George Micheal, who died on Christmas Day. Our project is also named in his memory. We will be thinking of all LGBTIQ+ siblings who have died this year due to the systemic oppression of our community - particularly hate crime, transphobia and a national absence of LGBTIQ+ domestic abuse and crisis support services and shelters. Rest in Power.
