SheHerTheyThem - East London’s favourite Community-building Social initiative for Queer Women, Trans, Intersex, Nonbinary and Gender NonConforming individuals - is back for 2023 with our new monthly Socials! Our regular events, held at our favourite Newham venue Tracks, are designed to help you find and connect with others in our community in a fun, friendly and safe environment.
On Thursday 2nd February we are breaking the ice with our first SheHerTheyThem GAMES NIGHT! We'll have board games, card games and interactive group games, 2-player to 12-player and beyond games, silly and serious games, so whatever your speed and whatever your vibe we'll have you covered!
We'll have a selection available on the night, but we welcome you to bring your own if you want to share your specific brand of gaming geek chic joy with the rest of us!
Doors will open at 6.30, with games starting from 7pm, and with music provided by our resident DJ Queen of Escalation from 9pm until close. We'll also have news and information about upcoming local events and queer causes, and launching our new SheHerTheyThem Personals campaign to help you build your community and find your people!
SOLOS TABLE
As always, we'll have a space dedicated to those of you flying solo who are looking to meet and make connections within our community. Look for the pansexual flag and find your place!
PAY WHAT YOU CAN
As with all our events, we are operating a Pay What You Can policy. All donations we receive go back into organising and supporting the SheHerTheyThem events, community and causes.
NO TERFS, NO SWERFS, NO CIS MEN
Our mission continues to decentre cis male energy from our Queer community and build a platform for the marginalised and minoritised LGBTQ+ voices in a space that supports and encourages collaboration and connection. Our entry code is simple - no TERFS, no SWERFS and no Cis Men allowed in the space*. Cis Men are welcome to support our community by donating to our causes, educating themselves on why we need events such as this, and respectfully allowing us our space. Cis-het women are welcome to join as allies to our events, but please be respectful that this space is for the queer community.
*Please note that some members of Tracks' staff are cis men who will be present, but be assured they understand and support our policy and event.
