Calling all gender-ascenders, queerdos, freaks, perverts and those living their beautiful transsexual lives. Themfest is Brighton’s first TNB (trans, non-binary) only cabaret, celebrating the joy, rage, beauty and talents of trans and non-binary artists.
Join our host with the most genders, Man Up finalist: Dad for a rollicking evening of drag, cabaret, song, performance art and comedy, that will be sure to leave you with a warm fuzzy feeling of community in your tum.

Open mic slots are available, to perform you must in some way identify as trans and/or non-binary (genderqueer, gender fluid, transmasc, transfemme etc) - any self identification that sits outside cisgender identity. If you’re interested in performing please contact: bertie@femfestbrighton.co.uk with a brief description of your proposed act. Slots will be allocated to ensure a range of artistic practices and experience.
Themfest is a night to centre and celebrate the talents of trans and non-binary artists, whilst everyone is welcome to come and bask in our glorious existence we hold a zero tolerance policy on transphobia, enbyphobia, transmisogyny, racism, misogyny, homophobia, biphobia, acephobia, ageism, ableism or hate speech of any kind.
This event will be held in our upstairs theatre space. Tickets are also available to watch the event on a screen downstairs.
