Your favourite audio open mic night is back again for springtime audio treats at The Jago on 11th April!
What is safe + sound? It's an open mic night for radio docs, podcasts, music + sound art!
There will be:

Drinks
Live Performances
Lovely People
Lots of audio old and new, long and short, funny and melancholy.
This month, our theme is ‘What’s in a Name?'
Submissions are open - it can be literally any audio up to 6 minutes. If you have something you'd like to share that's vaguely related to names / titles / aliases / labels / identities / codenames etc. hit us up. You can send us literally any type of audio you want: it can be a piece of music / an interview / an excerpt from a show / a bit of sound art. It can be a piece you made before, or something new you make specifically for us. The world is your oyster! Sendus your sounds: safesoundshow@gmail.com.
safe + sound is also a radio show on Resonance FM - recordings from the night will be broadcast on our next show.
Doors at 19.00, show starts at 19.30 sharp.
All profits from safe + sound are fundraising for Lesbians and Gays Support the Migrants - a queer activist group that, through fundraising and direct action, stand in solidarity with all migrants and refugees.
