Loving Men Connections Festival – 26-28 May 2018 – Clapham Omnibus Theatre
The Loving Men Connections Festival is a three-day extravaganza, exploring intimacy and connection for gay, bi and queer men.
The Festival is almost sold out. Visit www.lovingmen.org/connections for more information about remaining tickets.
It takes place over the late May bank holiday at the Clapham Omnibus Theatre, overlooking Clapham Common in south London.
Here's a two minute film about the Festival featuring the organisers:
There’ll be many opportunities to learn about intimacy, connect with others, experiment and play, stretch your intimacy comfort zone, and gain inspiration – all in the company of a large group of men of diverse ages, ethnicities and walks of life.
Loving Men has been running events for more than 15 years, usually outside London in residential centres. This year we wanted to make Loving Men more accessible to men in London, where many have a growing sense of disconnection between gay/bi men.
The Connections Festival is an intimate feast for gay, bi and queer men who want to explore connections with each other - body, heart and mind - in a safe, stimulating and supportive space.
We have an exceptional collection of workshop leaders from far and wide offering workshops on all kinds of intimacy-linked subjects. Topics include: Communication Skills, Queer Tango, Tantric Connection, Trust, Gay/Queer Ancestors, Sensual Contact Improvisation, Dramatherapy, Talking about Race, Dreams, Singing, Inter-Personal Skills, Mindfulness, 5Rhythms© Dance, Father Issues, Conscious Power/Impact Play and Shiatsu Massage.
Full details of workshops and facilitators already confirmed on www.lovingmen.org/connections.
It’s a very hands-on festival. We've got something to stimulate, inspire and stretch everyone.
The Omnibus Theatre is a great venue – comfortable, quirky and spacious, with Clapham Common right outside.
Ticket prices start at £80 and there’s a 3-day festival pass for concessionary groups at £100 (see www.lovingmen.org/connections for more details). For everyone else there are day passes at £80 and an intermediate 3-day pass for £220 until the end of April. It's £90 or £240 after that.
Loving Men has a Bursary Fund to support people on low incomes to participate in our activities. We are really committed to our events being accessible to a wide range of people including trans men, BAME men, younger men, positive men and men on low incomes. More information about the Bursary Fund is on www.lovingmen.org.
