TIM AND JERRY
A celebration of American musical theatre composer Jerry Herman
Hello Dolly, La Cage Aux Folles and Mack and Mabel, great classics of our time, feature in this exciting new musical revue, celebrating one of the most prolific musical theatre composers, Jerry Herman.
Join Tim McArthur and musical director Aaron Clingham as they perform some of Herman's most vibrant hits from his vast songbook. Songs include I Am What I am, Time Heals Everything, I Won’t Send Roses and Before The Parade Passes By.
'The first time I heard a Jerry Herman was watching Torvill and Dean ice-skate to Olympic glory in 1984. Since that time his compositions have had a huge influence on my love of musical theatre,' says Tim McArthur. "Come and experience his thrilling, ground-breaking tunes with us!'
Tim was last seen here at The Two Brewers with his Sondheim Diva show which has since been performed in New York, Chicago, Manchester, Brighton and several seasons in London. Credits include solo shows at Feinstein’s 54 below NYC, The London Hippodrome and Drew’s on Halstead, Chicago. Musicals in which he has performed include Into the Woods, Assassins and Forever Plaid. His Sondheim reviews at Jermyn Street Theatre received glowing reviews in The Times.
Earlier in May, Tim appeared as Demetrius in his hilarious homage to the Eurovision Song Contest in Eurovision Your Decision at Wonderville, London, The Floral Pavillion Theatre, New Brighton and the Ironworks in Brighton.
