To celebrate our new home we are screening REBEL DYKES (2021) Dir. Siân A Williams and Harri Shanahan

Happy to be showing REBEL DYKES in Glasgow in the our wonderful new venue. 

We were previously called REBEL QUEER FILM CLUB - we have changed our name to celebrate our wonderful new home,  and this month we are screening features and shorts by Glasgow based film production company,  Riot Productions. 

Food - We don't have a kitchen but we will be taking orders for a nearby Pizza Parlour when you arrive.  Or bring your own snacks! Note: there are no nearby shops! 

Drink - We have hot drinks for a donation.  Bring your own alcoholic drinks. 

REBEL DYKES is a rabble-rousing documentary set in 1980s post-punk London.  The unheard story of a community of dykes who met doing art, music, politics and sex, and how they went on to change their world.

Have you seen REBEL DYKES yet?  Even if you have, the best way to enjoy it is in a big comfy room with loads of people! 

Followed by a bit of a Dykey Discussion with Producer Siobhan Fahey.  

We are also excited to be screening a Secret Short Film Test Screen, the chance to feedback on Riot Productions latest short film.  

Come earlier at 3pm to watch other Riot Productions short films including director Christopher McGill award winning films. 

We are a sociable film club and particularly reach out to people who feel a bit isolated.  Our screenings are interactive and relaxed; creating friendly, welcoming and comfortable atmosphere to watch strange films together.   There is comfy seating, hot drinks  and Fidget Toys. 

The Carnival Arts Yard Cinema is our brilliant new  venue, hidden within Industrial Units beside the canal, so give yourself plenty of time to find us first time!
