The pursuit of pleasure and self-indulgence, has played a significant role in shaping queer culture, this art exhibition will explore perspectives on Queer Hedonism, and what that means for self-discovery, expression and development of identity and sexuality.
When you enter the arcane railway arches of Brixton, you’ll find a deconstructed bedroom in a semi-darkened space. Will you hop onto the bed where fantasy and self-exploration begins, or explore further?
Join STOGGAF collective in Brixton to bask in works from over 15 artists. In addition to prints, sketches, and painting, you can expect sculpture, jewellery, digital pieces and more.

Additionally, you will be able to grab a copy of our first limited run zine, grab a drink, or enjoy a talk, some DJs, plus a bar.
Tickets include one free drink, but there will also be a bar on hand to quench your thirst. Visit solo, or with friends, relax, enjoy and consume art from emerging artists as well as artists that have studied internationally regarded schools such as the RCA, and artists that have been featured among some of the most acclaimed collections such as the Tom of Finland Foundation, and much much more.
Who are the artists exhibiting?
You can expect an array of artists, both award winning, from the top art schools and emerging artists, portraying queer art on a range of media. From poem & prose, textiles, photography, sketches, painting, video, audio, sculpture and more.

About the venue
Bureau of Silly Ideas is a multifunction industrial space in the heart of Brixton. Under an expansive disused railway arches, just a 5 minute walk from Brixton Rail and underground stations this space is the perfect harkening to the emergence and popularisation of queer underground culture.
