Sadly, LGBTQIA+ people are 1½ times more likely to develop depression and anxiety disorder compared to the rest of the population.
And 67% of trans people have experienced depression in the previous year and 46% had thought of ending their life
It‘s important now more than ever that as a community facing anti-trans legislation, drag storytime protests, hate crime on the rise and a cost of living crisis that LGBTQIA+ people do not feel isolated or alone in with their Mental Health and that we work to remove the stigma and shame often associated with Mental Health.
So, I bring to you a night of fun and games with:
Perfomances from both Current and Upcoming LGBTQIA+ Performers
Information from NB Mental Health Professional, Rio Gonzalez about access to Mental Health Service and is Open to discuss queer friendly treatment options and tips on how to prepare ahead for assessments
15% of Each Ticket Sale will go to the Mental Health Charity, Mind which has personally helped the Founder of This Show
Tickets are £10 on OutSavvy and £12 On the Door. Pay it Forward is available to help those who may not be able to afford a ticket but would love a night of fun and access to any needed and relevant information
