Naked Boys Reading: Summertime Sadness

@ Ace Hotel, Shoreditch (Miranda Bar)

Curated by Paul Clinton
Summertime and the living AIN’T EASY.
This June the boys are reading texts that burn the skin of summer folly. They don’t mean to be a bummer, babes. But think of it: every summer picnic drains your bank account, the sweat stains on your shirt are unbecoming, the public transport has become 100% more disgusting and that pesky British sun just doesn’t wanna be as committed as you’re wishing it would be.
They’re just channeling Liz Taylor (in every film, really) and relishing in the su-su-summertime sadness. Guest curator, Paul Clinton (Associate Editor, Frieze; ex- No Bra), will bring his own saucy brand of sun-drenched melancholy. The Duchess will play her best sad disco, and that TOTAL wretch, Sharon Husbands, will smear her own brand of sadness all over your crotches.
