Ecstasy - who doesn't want that? Many seek it from intense sex, spiritual awakenings, those little tablets… But, what is ecstasy? Strong emotion, The originally Greek word meant something like ‘outside oneself'. For me, Tantric ecstatic practices are literally extra-ordinary, have taken me to parts of myself I hardly knew, ways of seeing others and our world in a new light…
This afternoon is intended to offer a taste of ecstasy, created and shared with other men. I hope you can come. I certainly hope you will have a great time. You'll be invited to become undressed - both raising sexual energy, more practically to give and receive sensation directly on your body. Being naked with other men… what's not to like? But also, being naked is to be exposed, even a challenge to be just yourself as you naturally are, without the coverings of daily life. Potentially, to allow yourself to be moved for a few hours out of the familiar and ordinary world, out of your usual ways and be truly seen. For being naked is to be vulnerable. You might let go a bit. You might even allow joy to flood in. You might become ecstatic.
We will start the meeting with introductions and checking in with safety and consent and confidentiality. I will then talk, a short while, about our theme and we will then start with simple clothed practices such as light touch and eye-gazing, before moving into mindful undressing and the main practices, which include the invitation to give and receive genital touch. Note that while this tantric workshop is a sex-positive space, it does not include penetration. For more on safety, consent and confidentiality, see Terms and Conditions below.
Please bring a sheet (ideally flat single), a towel, a water bottle, perhaps a sarong or blanket for breaks - and an open heart and mind.
