About the play: Leonato lives with his daughter, Hero, and niece, Beatrice, in Messina. Don Pedro arrives at their house with his army of returning soldiers, including Claudio and Benedick. Claudio falls quickly in love with Hero and are set to marry. However, jealous half-brother of Don Pedro plots to ruin the wedding by damaging Hero’s reputation. On the day of wedding, Claudio accuses Hero of cheating and she faints and is believed dead. Beatrice and Benedict (who bicker eternally), with the help of Leonato must clear Hero's name and search for the culprits before Claudio remarries...
