“Opening doors for LGBTQ+ Business through public and private opportunities and how it ties into ESG reporting”.
Find out more on how OutBritain is facilitating opportunities through public and private opportunities. We will explore how supplier diversity is leading the way in the UK for DEI objectives and how these corporations need to report their spending with diverse-owned businesses. Finally, we will look at the real challenges for LGBTQ+ business owners and how their identities can change the impact of the economic landscape in the UK and throughout Europe while addressing ESG reporting standards.
Matt Dabrowski – OutBritain CEO and Founder
Matt Dabrowski is a fierce advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and economic equality. He is also the CEO and founder of OutBritain and OutScotland, the UK’s first LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce. Originally from Connecticut, USA, where he was Executive Director of the Connecticut LGBT Chamber of Commerce, Matt moved to the UK in 2019.
Having seen the increase in focus on ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) reporting as well as the enormous benefits available to LGBTQ+ owned businesses through a more structured approach to diversity in procurement and supplier management, Matt set about researching the potential of introducing the LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce model to the British market.
In 2020 OutScotland was born, with OutBritain following shortly after. Through the introduction of OutBritain and OutScotland, Matt, together with his team, has created a framework for platforming, supporting and advancing LGBTQ+ owned businesses through the introduction of LGBTBE® certification in the UK, a programme which makes it easier for LGBTQ+ owned businesses to stand out and for corporate partners to identify and collaborate with them as part of their commitment to supplier diversity.

Timing (approximate)
- 06:30 pm Start, drink & nibbles purchased from the bar on the ground floor, bring with you to the room, networking.
- 7:00 pm all participants have the opportunity to introduce themselves briefly (i.e. 1-2 minute). Such as: "Hi, I am J-F, Professional with Public Relations, Catering Consultancy & Events experience. I get people together and make it happen!" Short and sweet is always best and guests can ask you questions afterward.
- 07:30 pm Talk and Q & A
- 8:00 pm Dinner - choose and pay for what you want at the bar, in the brasserie on the ground floor please book in advance so that I can book the table(s), others can remain in the room or join us at the bar.
- 9:30 pm Carriages
