Tantra is a spiritual path for all of ourselves, our minds, our bodies… our sexual energies. Tantra does not just include but celebrates our bodies, using all our energies to raise awareness and grow love.
This workshop will involve our breath, sensations, feelings, while focussing on practicing lingam (cock) massage. The lingam is seen in tantra as linked to the source of life and to be reverenced. - and in this afternoon you will be invited to reverence each other's lingams, through exchanging loving and mindful genital touch. The intention will be to deepen inner awareness and connection with others through touch and exploring the ‘edge’ of nearing full orgasm, but holding that energy by not ejaculating and taking that intensity out into your life. Of course, as well as developing awareness and love, cock massage is likely be intensely enjoyable, which is part of the intention.
I should add, not only is there no target to ejaculate, please don't worry about getting and keeping an erection. Lingam massage does not require an erection to be enjoyable, and in any case it's natural for erections to come and go over the several hours of practice
One source of inspiration for this afternoon is the teachings of Seb Cox and other leaders of previous Brothers In Touch events in Manchester and London, which some of you - like myself - may have attended. This workshop is not a copy of Seb's work, but is influenced by it.
We will start the meeting with introductions and checking in with safety and consent and confidentiality. I will then talk for a short while about the intentions behind practicing cock massage. We will then start with simple clothed practices such as light touch and eye-gazing, before moving into mindful undressing and the main practice, which includes teaching and demonstrating the various cock massage techniques. But do note that while this tantric workshop is clearly a sex-positive space, it does not include penetration. For more on safety, consent and confidentiality, see Terms and Conditions below.
Please bring a sheet (ideally flat single), a towel, a water bottle, perhaps a sarong or blanket for breaks - and an open heart and mind.
