🏳️⚧️ For this special edition of RUNT celebrating Transgender Awareness Week, guest curated and hosted by transfemme artist Abigail Jacqueline Jones, we are showcasing queer, trans, non-binary and/or gender-nonconforming creatives.
💥 We invite you to join us in imagining utopian futures where we have finally transcended the oppressiveness of sexes and genders, genetics and genitals, in which we are all finally free to embrace the sticky, sexy, soft and squishy fluidity of our marvellously messy bodies, and live our lives on our own terms!
🤖 Expect live art, visual art, spoken word, video, burlesque, sound work and theatre that demands we take matters into our own hands and eviscerate every last trace of our queerphobic world from the face of Planet Earth in one final act of tender, transgressive, orgasmic trans-gender rebellion. Because after all, nuclear armageddon ain’t nothin’ but foreplay…

🎨About Abigail Jacqueline Jones:
Abigail Jacqueline Jones is an autistic, transfeminine multidisciplinary visual artist, writer, independent researcher and performer, and literal living giantess. She constructs meticulously detailed, rich, rebellious and genuinely radical alt-histories, contemporary mythologies and speculative futures, exploring disregarded, unexposed, unusual or controversially unspoken perspectives on various forms of marginalisation, wielding fiction and academia, humour and horror, in the pursuit of justice and socio-political vengeance.
