Cuban casino style, is a style of salsa originated from Cuba, that is fresh with influences of modern diasporic influences such as jazz and R'n'B, Funk, and more…as well as traditional folkloric Afro Cuban and Caribbean dances and movement.

EVERYone is welcome to join our salsa night. This is a space for QTIPOC LGBTQ+ community and ALLIES.
We are all about Inclusivity and Diversity. Come with a respectful attitude, to enjoy, learn and have a fun time!

7-8pm - 4 week course Foundation / Absolute beginners
8:15-9:15pm - Beginners / Beginners 2
FREE Social
Towards the end or at the end of each course we like to have a little social. When we do have a social, we have just one class Beginners/Beginners 2 at 7pm. Our socials are free or PWYC, and open to eveyone. You don't need to attend a class to join, you can just rock up for a spin. And is until 9:45pm.

What is the Foundation course?
For those first timers / absolute beginner / a little rusty / new to dance
(Recommended to purchase as a course, when starting your Cuban salsa journey)
This is a PROGRESSIVE course, designed to build each week on foundational steps, body movement, travelling, timing etc...
What is Beginners / Beginners 2?
Here the fun starts! We introduce moves and basic turns such as Enshufla, Dile que no, Guapea and more. You must have your basics down or completed Level 1. Can also compliment your absolute beginner journey after 2 or 3 weeks in.

No need to bring a partner. We will rotate partners and dance with the group.

After class will be a little time to dance, practice and socialise.
You can also GIFT IT FORWARD. Gift It Forward is a way you can support others on low or no income to have the oppurtunity to participate. Purchase our Gift It Forward ticket with whatever amount you can give.
