The festive season is almost upon us, and we would like to invite you to celebrate with us!
We hope you can join us at our Christmas party at Zodiac Bar at 119 Hampstead Rd, London NW1 3EE, on Wednesday 29th November. GWN has sole use of the main bar for our members and their guests between 6:30pm until 11pm.
There’ll be entertainment, music and mingling throughout the evening.
Rosie Wilby provides some festive frolics with a mix of fast-paced standup and short funny readings from her books The Breakup Monologues and Is Monogamy Dead? (which she will be signing on the night at exclusive discounted prices). She’ll also be giving spoof advice on winning the heart of your Christmas crush and perhaps even giving us a hint about the theme of her forthcoming debut novel. Rosie is an award-winning comedian, writer and podcaster who has appeared on BBC Radio 4 programmes including Woman's Hour, Saturday Live, Unsafe Space and Four Thought and TV programmes including Good Morning Britain and Sunday Morning Live. Her latest book The Breakup Monologues is based on her acclaimed podcast (a British Podcast Award nominee and recommended by Chortle, The Observer, Psychologies and more) and is published globally by Bloomsbury. She regularly contributes to The Guardian, The Independent, Stylist, Cosmo and Perspective and has hosted programmes for Virgin Radio, BBC and Resonance FM.

This year our ticket price includes a donation to Micro Rainbow, their vision is to create a world where lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer and intersex (LGBTQI) people are free from discrimination, persecution and have equal opportunities in life, including in accessing employment, training, education, financial services, healthcare, housing, places of faith, and public services. They do this by:
- Providing safe housing to LGBTQI asylum seekers and refugees
- Facilitating access to employment, volunteering, training and education for LGBTQI refugees through their moving on programme
- Providing social inclusion activities to reduce the extreme isolation faced by LGBTQI people

Space is limited so please purchase your tickets early to confirm your attendance.
