We are excited to introduce the Queer Musical Theatre Workshop Series on Saturday 11th November from 16:00-17:30 pm led by Chris Vasileiadi.

What to expect?

You'll get the chance to work on iconic LGBTQIA+ musicals, focusing on one piece of queer work per month (classes are not continuous so feel free to drop in any time, no stress if you haven't attended prior), 4 weeks of a show's exploration will include :

Open discussion about the show’s plot, how representation and inclusion have been portrayed, and what could change/be better.
Character development entries and prompts
Exploration of the staging and movement direction from the show; get your creative juices flowing in your vocal and physical skills
Monologue/duologue writing from the character’s perspective through a different lens from the one the show is already exploring

Please wear comfortable clothing, bring your journal and loads of water

Note: The session will be taking place downstairs which is sadly not wheelchair accessible.
