The Common Press is delighted to announce GODDESS, an upcoming music and meditation workshop led by Khadijatou on Thursday, November 30th, from 7 pm to 9 pm. Join us for the 'GATHERING OF DIASPORA' - a captivating experience of group drumming, dance, exchange, and a soothing sound bath session.
In a world facing numerous challenges, this workshop serves as a creative outlet. With over 25 years of experience as a Performing Artist and Facilitator, Khadijatou Doyneh will inspire you to use this creative session as an opportunity to express yourself. Through sharing, laughter, tears, conversation, music, and dance, we aim to diffuse tension, relax, and create.
This event encourages a unique multi-generational interaction for those who wish to express themselves creatively, utilizing drumming and percussion.
