Welcome to Queer Festivus, a safe space where you will get ready for the holidays with the use of ceramics. Open for all, regardless of religion, gender identity of sexuality. C ome and learn how to make ceramic decorations using clay and slip decoration taught by ceramicists Fredrik Andersson (FreddeLanka) & Lenka Kalafutova (Gatopollo Ceramics).

If it´s for a christmas tree or a queer amulet to ward off ignorant family relatives, we are here to help. All decorations will be glazed and fired, ready for collection on Sunday the 9th of December 2-6pm here at DSS. Other collection times can be arranged with FreddeLanka & Gatopollo in their south London studio.

Tickets are £20 per person and includes all materials needed to produce your decorations. All decorations will be made using pre rolled slabs of clay. Feel free to bring sketches and ideas so that we can help you as best we can.
