Kayleigh Mai Hinsley (she/her)
Kayleigh Mai Hinsley is playwright, dramaturg and facilitator of mixed Irish, English and Sri Lankan descent originally from North Devon, now based in North London. She is drawn to stories that balance humour and darkness, and enjoys using metaphor and absurdism in her own work to provoke and entertain. Kayleigh has been a member of Beyond Face’s We Are Here To Write programme since 2021, had scripts shortlisted by Traverse Theatre and the Royal Court and is currently taking part in NSDF Lab 2023/24 at Camden People’s Theatre.
Áine McNamara (she/her)
Áine is an actor and writer from Willesden. Her written work is often interested with the London Borough of Brent, the Irish diaspora, and football. This year she was selected as one of the Kiln Theatre’s Listen Local Young Writers. Her play, ‘Not Dead, But Growing’ was shared as part of a rehearsed reading.
Melanie Lam (she/her)
Melanie Lam is a Mauritius born writer, spoken word artist, actor and accountant, based in London. She has acted on stage at Young Vic Theatre, Network Theatre, Theatro Technis, Broadway Theatre Catford, Phoenix Arts Club, Barons Court Theatre, Golden Goose Theatre, Arcola Theatre and Pleasance Theatre. Her digital theatre projects include The Show Must Go Online web series and the Quarantine Players project ‘All the world’s a stage’ Shakespeare Solos. She has written for SLAMinutes 2022, Chinese Write Now Festival 2022, Creating Apart 2021 ESEA actor showcase, and Show Face Festival 2020.
Lucie Long (she/her)
Lucie Long is a French-British writer and performer who has created several works for the page and the stage. Her work focuses on queer identities, loneliness, unconventional bodies and notions of homemaking as resistance. She likes to write funny, absurd characters who defy expectations and who move in and out of the categories society imposes on them. She is part of the Almeida Theatre’s Young Producers and has created work for White Noise Theatre and in collaboration with FAMU in Prague. She is currently studying an MA at Goldsmith’s and is developing a performance with artist Mathilde Hawkins about Joyce’s Molly Bloom.
Alwiyyah Saad (she/they/he)
Alwiyyah Saad is a British-Kenyan multidisciplinary artist, writer, opinion essayist and actor-activist. After recently graduating from All In Actors in 2023 Alwiyyah's current goal is to develop a long term and sustainable practice, as a theatre maker, content creator and performing artist, with themes centred around heritage, religion and queerness that encapsulate the internal landscape of black queer femme imagination
