TRANSMISSIONS PRESENTS: The Quick and the Dead

This festive season at Transmissions we're back at Dalston Superstore, cosy in the basement with more films carefully chosen by and for East London's most discerning trans film lovers.
Starting off our December triptych is a selection by one of our regulars; Sam Raimi's bombastic western, The Quick and the Dead (1995).

Sharon Stone plays a mysterious gunslinger who rides into a frontier town where a duelling tournament is being held, and enters in an effort to avenge her father's death.
This deep cut from Raimi (The Evil Dead trilogy, Spider-Man, Drag Me To Hell) also stars a twink-era Leonardo DiCaprio alongside Gene Hackman, Russell Crowe, and Tobin Bell.

So put on your cowboy hat, grab your drinks from the watering hole upstairs, and join us for a good old night at the movies.

Subtitles will be displayed throughout the film.
Seating is a mixture of benches, backed chairs, bar stools, and floor space, and is first come, first served.
