After a hugely successful run at Edinburgh Fringe, Georgia Tasda returns to London for two nights only with her solo stand-up show. It’s a tough gig getting by in today’s cut-throat economy, but help is at hand! Join prize-winning comedy drag queen Georgia Tasda for her riotous new show "Georgia Tasda Means Business". Expect queer capers, gender-bending, and of course, funny business!
In this Business Masterclass, Georgia reveals the tricks of the trade she used to build her business empire. Smashing through the glass ceiling and the fourth wall, Georgia is an entrepreneurial force to be reckoned with. MBA-mazing!
In 2016, Georgia Tasda was crowned winner of Her Upstairs' "Not Another Drag Competition". She is co-founder and hostess of Cambridge's Oh! Rama queer clubnight, and runs Queer AF Cabaret in Edinburgh. She made her Edinburgh Fringe debut in 2017 with her solo stand-up show "Afternoon T".
'An absurd mix of cosmic club kid and northern stand-up, looking like a cross between Leigh Bowery and Pinhead from Hellraiser while delivering groanworthy intergalactic gags' (Scotsman)
'Georgia Tasda carries Leigh Bowery’s torch for weird and exceptional drag performance art' (LoverboyMagazine.com)
'This is a copyright lawsuit waiting to happen' (Georgia's lawyer)
The performance will be held downstairs in the basement of The Glory. Unfortunately the space does not have step free access, and is down a single flight of stairs. The toilets on the ground floor also do not have wheelchair access, and are up a set of approx 5 steps. There is no induction loop for hearing aids and no dedicated all gender bathroom.
