General info:
T4Tunes is a trans-centric music night and community-building space where all ticket profits will be redistributed to the surgery and living costs of members of the London trans community. If you would like to be allocated funds, please send me a message and your your payment details will be added the linktree, and I will send you a portion of funds from ticket sales.
As well as music, in the other room at Matchstick Piehouse, there will be a clothes rail set up for a clothing swap - please bring something if you can, take something if you need it. I will personally make sure there are some plus-size clothes (16/XL+) available from my wardrobe.
There will also be the distribution of safer sex supplies and the distribution of DIY HRT information. We will also have very cute stickers of our logo which was drawn by @embersnail. Donations are encouraged for stickers as these funds will also be redistributed to trans fundraisers, but this can be as little as 10p - there will be a card machine.
Tickets will be available online up to one hour before the event, and also available to buy on the door for either cash or card payments.
Access/safety info:
As of right now, there is one person behind this event - Kloé (they/them) I have a good chunk of experience working around the live music industry and festivals, and as a disabled person myself I am all too aware of how inaccessible gigs can be for both musicians and audience members, so this is at the very core of what I’m trying to focus on. I am also still COVID conscious and I will be encouraging testing and masking at this event, if you aren’t vaccinated - do not bother coming. If you have COVID/flu symptoms, please consider staying at home. I will make sure facemasks (KN95s) are available at the door so please feel free to take one.
If you have any access needs/questions before the event, please feel free to message the event page on instagram, email t4tunes23@gmail.com or message Matchstick Piehouse themselves.
No smoke machines or strobe lighting will be used during this event. There are earplugs available behind the bar.
Zero tolerance policy for transphobia, homophobia, misogyny, fatphobia, racism, classism or any kind of discrimination. People who have caused harm to our community are not welcome (this is a much nicer way of saying what I want to say). If you act out of line in any way you will be brought up on this. Security will be provided by the wonderful @safeonly.
Please make any of the bar staff, myself - I will be on the door all night, or our security person aware if you have any issues. Most importantly - have fun, look after each other, and feel free to pass on any feedback/ideas.
