Here at the Prohibition Cabaret we're celebrating the return of the roaring twenties in style, with decadent drag, gag-worthy glamour and show-stopping entertainment! ✨
Local drag superstar and queen in residence, Liv presents a sensational showcase of powerhouse performers from the UK's illustrious drag circuit, serving you up one of the city's most exciting drag shows to date..
Our debut line up on Thursday 7th March 2024 features:
🎙️ KIKI PAIN - the vocalist with a vagina and CEO of rich mum energy, Kiki Pain is one of the UK's hottest drag talents. Based in Liverpool, this Northern star is ready to slay us all with her signature mug, stunning lewks and killer voice!
👵🏻 NANA ARTHOLE - a legendary queen of the Nottingham scene, co-host of Gladrags and A Good Beating podcast, judge of the Nottingham Drag Pageant and Debbie McGee's number one fan. Nana has been around as long as anyone can remember, she considers this a win since her old jokes are now considered new.
💋 KENYA KNOTT - the dancing queen supreme of the Birmingham scene and the only diva. Between giving fiery full-production Beyoncé drag brunches in various cities and styling wigs for all your favourite drag artists, this diva is coming to give us a SHOW!

👑 LIV - hairiest woman in showbusiness, co-creator of the Nottingham Drag Pageant and Queen of Revolution Hockley's Drag Brunch. Liv hosts several shows in various cities including her hometown of Nottingham. You can find her in and out of drag at the Lord Roberts serving pints AND lewks.

Followed by a post-show drink with your performers for the night upstairs in the Lord Roberts Pub ✨

ACCESSIBILITY INFO
Due to the historic nature of the Lord Roberts Pub (built 1936-37) accessibility is unfortunately low.

We sincerely apologise to those who are unable to access the Prohibition Cabaret and will continue to identify ways to improve access and advocate for improvement across Nottingham's Drag and LGBTQ+ scene.
GENERAL
The Prohibition Cabaret is a seated show that uses dramatic lighting and sound, but does not use strobe lighting.
The Lord Roberts serves a range of low and non-alcoholic drinks, and a variety of crisps, nut and snacks. The bar is upstairs so please collect you drinks and snacks before heading down to the see the show.
VENUE ACCESS:
The entrance to The Lord Roberts Pub is step-free, however there is a stairway downstairs into the Prohibition Cabaret space.
The stairway consists of:
- 2 steps down, a landing
- 5 steps down, a landing
- 6 steps down, step-free entrance to the Cabaret space
Each step is 20cm high and there is a handrail all the way down.
We are more than happy to welcome you before doors open to make your way into the space at your own pace.
We can also reserve seating for you, and have limited space for storing mobility aids and wheelchairs within the venue.
TOILETS
Unfortunately The Lord Roberts does not have a dedicated disabled toilet, however both Guys and Dolls toilets have step-free access.
Please note the Guys toilets are down one 15cm step which can be covered with a ramp.
The Dolls toilets consist of two cubicles, and the Guys toilets consist of two cubicles and four urinals, please use whichever toilet you feel most comfortable in.
