Starlets Chair Dance Burlesque Workshop

Pull up a chair and let's get naughty!

You've read that correctly! We're heading back to the everso retro Pallant Suite for an evening of chair dancing burlesque style

Not for the faint hearted, this workshop will explore the fun to be had whilst using a chair as the star of the show

As a stage prop, the chair can be used to tease, tempt and treat the viewer and our jobs as the Starlets to deliver the goods

Taught in a safe space, chief mayhem mistress Dawn Gracie will introduce you to the moves and mindset around performing using plush chairs to enhance and elevate your self confidence

WHAT TO WEAR

As you can imagine, this requires a lot of movement so I ask that you wear comfortable yet glamorous  - no gym wear or trainers. Dance shoes or bare feet preferred. I will be wearing tights, frilly shorts and a vest. There will be elements of striptease in this workshop so a spare bra or top to add the element of burlesque tease.

WHERE

The Pallant Suite (the freemasons hall) is in the City centre and free parking in East Pallant car park. Look out for the big wooden door in South pallant or find the back door accessed via the car park

TIME

Doors will open at 7.30pm with a prompt start and end at 8.50pm in order to stretch/cool down & have photos

CONTENT

Dawn will teach you moves to include the chair as well as using the chair to enhance a burlesque routine. Pasties/tassels will be provided and can be attached to a top/bra so that the other bra/top can be removed to imply striptease/peel.

CAUTION

It is not reccommended to try this workshop if you have a back injury or any injuries to the lower back area. It is not reccommended if you are pregnant or have limited mobility
